Property Manager

Having grown up on a farm in the central west of NSW and in Bathurst, Dave holidayed on the south coast all his life before finally making the move to Jervis Bay in 2023.

The decision came after a family trip around Australia in a caravan, which convinced them they could handle living closer to the coast permanently. As Dave puts it, it just so happens that this is some of the best coast in the country.

Dave brings a genuinely broad background to the role, having worked across youth and social work, small business, the not for profit sector, and community sporting and golf club management. It's a mix that has given him a practical, people-first approach and the ability to handle whatever a day throws at him.

His move into accommodation began in 2023 at the Kangaroo Valley Golf Club, and he has since trained across reservations, onboarding and property management, building a well-rounded understanding of what it takes to look after a property and the people staying in it.

A natural problem solver who genuinely enjoys fixing things, Dave is exactly the person an owner wants on the other end of the phone.

Outside of work Dave enjoys golf, diving and sport in general — these days, he admits, more watching than playing — along with spending time with his family on the coast that brought them here.
